Renaissance

The inspiration for these shots came during a visit to a theatrical costume warehouse. I loved the idea of creating images that carried the essence of Renaissance paintings, with a subtle, dissonant touch of modernity. We photographed the two models in the studio and then applied, in post-production, a background captured specifically for the occasion, creating a visual dialogue between classical painting and modern photography.
