Renaissance

The inspiration for this project came from the discovery of vintage theatrical costumes inside a stage prop warehouse. Felix Reed reinterpreted the aesthetic of Renaissance paintings by introducing a subtle contemporary and slightly dissonant element. The models were photographed in the studio, while the background was created separately and later integrated in post-production, creating a visual dialogue between classical painting and modern photography.
